1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using AegisRunner ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AegisRunner is an AI-powered automated web testing platform that provides:

  • Intelligent web crawling and page discovery
  • AI-generated test case creation
  • Automated test execution and monitoring
  • Visual regression testing
  • Test reporting and analytics
  • CI/CD integration capabilities

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party and to notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Test websites or applications you do not own or have explicit permission to test
  • Conduct any form of unauthorized security testing or penetration testing
  • Overload, flood, or spam any systems or networks
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or any other malicious code
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
  • Collect or harvest personal information without consent

5. Authorization & Responsibility for Testing

By using AegisRunner to crawl or test any website URL, you explicitly acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Authorization Required: You must be authorized to perform automated testing and crawling on any URL you add to the Service. This includes having ownership of the website or explicit written permission from the website owner.
  • Traffic Generation: You understand that crawling and testing activities may generate significant traffic to the target website and could potentially impact its performance.
  • Full Responsibility: You accept full responsibility for any consequences resulting from your testing activities, including but not limited to IP blocking, service disruptions, legal claims, or damages.
  • Account Suspension/Termination: If your activities result in complaints, IP blocks, or violations of these terms, your account may be suspended or permanently deleted without prior notice.
  • No Unauthorized Testing: You will not use this Service to test websites you do not own or have explicit permission to test. Testing third-party websites without authorization is strictly prohibited.

6. Prohibited Illegal Activities

Any illegal activity conducted through the Service will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to relevant law enforcement authorities. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Unauthorized Access: Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any website, system, or network
  • Data Theft: Collecting, scraping, or stealing personal data, credentials, or sensitive information
  • DDoS Attacks: Using the Service to conduct distributed denial-of-service attacks or overwhelm target systems
  • Government/Financial Systems: Testing government, military, financial, or healthcare systems without proper authorization
  • Malicious Injection: Attempting SQL injection, XSS, or other attack vectors against websites
  • Fraud: Using the Service to facilitate any fraudulent activities

⚠️ Violation of this section will result in immediate and permanent account termination. We reserve the right to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and provide any relevant information regarding illegal activities conducted through our Service.

7. Subscription and Billing

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis ("Billing Cycle"). Billing cycles are set either on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the type of subscription plan you select. Refunds are available in accordance with our Refund Policy, which includes a 14-day money-back guarantee.

At the end of each Billing Cycle, your Subscription will automatically renew under the exact same conditions unless you cancel it or we cancel it. You may cancel your Subscription renewal either through your online account management page or by contacting our customer support team.

8. Free Trial

We may offer a free trial to new users. During the free trial period, you will have access to certain features of the Service. At the end of the free trial, you will be required to select a subscription plan to continue using the Service. If you do not select a plan, your access may be limited to the free tier features.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of AegisRunner and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You retain ownership of any test cases, configurations, or other content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a license to host, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

10. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs the Service and informs users of our data collection practices. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall AegisRunner, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

12. Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or contact us to delete your account.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
