AegisRunner

// mobile app testing automation

Mobile app testing on real iOS & Android devices — no code.

Upload an iOS or Android build and an AI agent explores it on managed real-device infrastructure, generates cases from observed controls, and runs them with evidence. Cross-surface journeys can connect a mobile action with a web verification when the identity can be grounded safely.

// how it works

Four steps. Zero test code.

01

Upload your build

Drop in your Android .apk or iOS .ipa — or paste a hosted build URL. No Appium, no SDK, no device lab.

02

AI explores on a real device

AegisRunner installs your app on a real iPhone or Android phone and explores it screen by screen — opening flows, filling forms, logging in.

03

Tests are generated & run

It turns what it observed into grounded test cases (including negative tests) and runs them back on real hardware.

Crashes, dead controls, accessibility, performance and visual regressions — with video, screenshots and a plain-English summary.

Frequently asked

Do I need Appium or a device lab to test my mobile app?

No. AegisRunner removes the entire Appium stack — no JAVA_HOME, Android SDK, Xcode or WebDriverAgent. You upload your .apk or .ipa and the AI explores it on a real device in the cloud, generates the tests, and runs them. See our guide: Mobile App Testing Without Appium Setup.

Does it test on real devices or emulators?

Real, physical hardware — iPhone, Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy — so you catch hardware-specific bugs, performance lags and gesture issues emulators miss. A fast Android emulator is available as an option.

Which platforms are supported?

Native iOS (.ipa) and native Android (.apk), plus React Native, Flutter and mobile web. Upload the build and AegisRunner handles the rest.

Can it test my mobile app and my website together?

Yes — this is our cross-platform sync. A single journey can act in the mobile app and verify the result on the website (same login), so you catch the moment mobile and web drift out of sync.

Do I have to write any code?

No. The mobile workflow explores the uploaded build and generates cases from observed screens and controls. Playwright export applies to generated web suites on Pro and Business; native-mobile artifacts use the mobile execution stack.
